I overclocked this celeron 300a to 450(100 X 4.5).I was just wondering is it safe to set the core voltage to 2.2v. This is the only
core voltage that this cpu can run stable at
450mhz. I've tried 2.0v, 2.05, and 2.10
with different multiplier setting but only
2.2v seems to work. I've got a heatsink
with 2cpu fans and I'm running rain 1.0.
The temperature overclocked at 450mhz is
about 83degrees F. So is this safe?

My 300A is running at 464MHz at 2.3 v0lts. The temperature of the chip averages about 73 degrees normally and will rise to about 85 degrees during cpu intensive operations. I use Rain and I'm not afraid of damaging the chip at this voltage so long as the temperature remains under control. 85 degrees on your chip shouldn't be a problem.

I have 3 systems running at 4.5 x 100 2.2v
all at 450 or 464 and get +/- 33c no problems. (costa rica 300a) also have a malay 300a 4.5 x 100 at 2.0v 32c. all have 1 fan/heatsink w/case fan.
