I would like to import the contacts from my brothers outlook to my outlook. My computer is in another location but we are networked using a server. Anyone help with this.

Anyone help with this. zyquip 04-14-1999, 09:22 AM In order to copy all the Contacts info into the other computer, you must copy and paste the following file: outlook.pst (not outlook.dat) Because I don't know whether you have the file on a Win95, Win98, or Win NT machine, I suggest that you use the Start | Find feature to locate this file. Stan 04-14-1999, 09:57 AM Hi It depends... If you are part of a network, are you using a Exchange Server ? If this is the case, one way to do it is ask your brother to export his contacts to a pst file. Then, you just need to import the same file into your contacts... A better way to do it is ask your brother to share his contacts list (right-click on contact - permissions tab). What you need to do, once the sharing is done, is click on "file" - "open" - "other user's folder". Select your brother and you are done ! I assume your are using Outlook 98, as I am not sure that you can do this under Outlook 97... Stan SysOpt.com
