I am going to set up a reid 0 on a new machine i plan to build. I know there is a 137GB cap on the size of an IDE drive. Does that cap also apply to an IDE raid?

If the max for the drives are 137GB then the max for a 2 drive RAID 0 would be 274 GB. As far as a file system limit in case you want the OS to see the array as one drive then as long as you use FAT32 of NTFS you won't reach a limit until you get into terabytes. (one exception would be if your using NT 40 setup routine which uses VFAT to translate to a new NTFS partation. This contition limits setup to 4098 MB for creating the Boot partition - not an issue with Win2k) SysOpt.com
