I'd like to know how does the Annih's glide wrapper perform when running glide-based games?
I'd like to use it for my emulation softwares such as UltraHle N64 and Bleem once in a while.
Is it on par with the performance of a true hardware voodoo-based video card?
Anybody ever tried running the TreeMark demo/benchmark on a non-Geforce-based video card? The benchmark is made with hardware T&L in mind I believe, maybe that explains why I get only 7fps @ 640x480 on my Matrox card. The proggie makes my Matrox G400 feel like a cheapy Trident/Sis6326 2d video card.
I mostly run D3D-based games, I've heard that the Geforce is not any faster, if not slower, than other video cards in running today's current D3D games, am I correct? Hope I'm wrong, otherwise it'd be a kick in the head for paying $300 to actually slow down my system's performance. Dope!
Please comment.
