512mb ram and asusu v7700deluxe

Motherbord Asus CUV4X
With 3 pcs of 128mb ram at 133mhz that's ok 3d mark 2001 gave me 2776 score
But if I attempt to increase memory with 1 256+2x128
3d mark 2001 wont run and say:" could not initialize 3d acc, try to downgrade display settings
Directx error message: set screen-creatingthe device failed E-OUTOFMEMORY"
FS2000 can not run with 3d acc card
What about? I Have to update my motherbord card bios?
Or I'm destiny to work with only 3x128mb ram
I've also tryed with 2x256mb ram same problem

Does it work with either of the new sticks individually?

It sounds like the new ram is just bad. Tried it in another computer?

Some boards can be finicky about the type of ram or mixing ram from different manufacturers. I haven't heard that being a problem in Asus boards though.

If there is a newer bios than the one you are using, it wouldn't hurt to upgrade that. I don't think that's the source of your problem though.
