Here's my system...K7S5A mainboard, Win 98,Geoforce MX 400, and a Samsung 955DF monitor. The monitor goes into power saving mode and won't "wake up" forcing me to reboot using the reset switch. I've looked at every setting in Windows and in the bios, tried everything I can think of and have installed the latest Detonator drivers to know avail. Anybody else have this problem... and could offer some suggestions!
Thanks
Check to see if it's an issue that is corrected in a newer Bios update.

Thanks for the suggestions...I'm pretty sure now its the ACPI...it was enabled in the bios when I loaded Win 98...gonna try disabling then doing a clean install again!
Look here (http://www.viahardware.com/faq/kt7/kt7faq.htm) , you'll find the way to disable ACPI without reinstalling Windows (unless you already did it http://www.sysopt.com/forum/smile.gif ).
