laptop noise

I have a Dell latitude XPI that i was given and the only thing wrong with it is when you turn it on it makes an awful noise. I think it is the fan. al OS works , its just the noise. I can not figure out how to open the case to check the fan. Can anyone give me some help here?

Once, i had the same problem with my Laptop, it was so noisy ...
I found out that there was a screw loose in the back of the unit, so i tighten it and all the noise went away ..
Check it out coz it might be the problem ..
