Anyone have any experience with a 1GHZ cpu on a Abit BE6 mb? Abit tech support says no because of the chipset, 440BX.
The BE6-II supports 1GHZ and also has the same BX chipset. Abit does not respond to this comparison and has not updated the bios to support it.

I have a BE6 and I belive the highest you can go is an 800 if its a p3 and with cellron its 766 I think. I tried a 800 cellron in it and it wouldn't boot.
