What is the best software for doing this? Preferably FREE though. I have Office 2000 Small Business sitting here, and I can use either Word or Publisher. I have a copy of Office 2000 Professional at my Dad's, and I'm pretty sure it came with FrontPage 2000 but I'm not sure. Is it worth me driving over and picking it up?
Bear in mind I'm only on a normal modem here so no massive downloads like HoTMetaL pro or anything.

Thanks guys

From what I hear, FrontPage2000 is excellent. Go get it!

I personally used an old shareware program (VisualPage off a cover CD) to start off, then gradually learnt the basics of HTML. I still have a long way to go but learning is half the fun!

Use CuteFTP for uploads.

I use a careware program called Arachnophilia, It can be downloaded at http://www.arachnoid.com/arachnophilia/index.html

It is pretty much a basic editor, but it has alot of shortcuts to lesson typing. You can have up to 5 bowsers linked to it for testing.
