Did anyone take advantage of that Microsoft Best Buy GOOF?

Well i did i got me a new printerz51 lexmark printer,20gighd, and some other stuff. The thing was you sign up with microsoft msn you get a 400 dollar rebate or something like thaat and you could cancel the service. Well we got all that stuff. But microsoft find out about it because dumb microsoft had a loophole in the contract about cancelling the service. So they fixed it but many people took advantage of it hahaha Bill gates thanks for buy me some stuff.

That was only in two states. Cal was one of them can't remeber the other one. And according to zdtv news they are still offering the deal in other states.
It was something about a law in those two states.

In Cali and Oregon, theres state laws about someone not being able to hold you to a contract that involves a loan..Im sure its alot more technical than just that, but thats the jist of it

wonder if this could have any effect on the phoney internet tieins, that are so common here in Calif. you never see a computer listed for the real price. sadly people fall for this.

I wonder why they only came out with the news today. We new about it here for some time. There was a post about it a month or so ago and a debate as to whther it was legal/ ethical to do so. I guess M$ has screwed so many of us out of money that it's good to see them get bitten back I guess...
