Hi there,

I just got a Hyundai 128MB DIMM stick from someone. It was bought recently. What I want to know is its clock speed. It is working fine at 100MHz, CAS 2 and this is the maximum FSB of my system. I was told that it is 133MHz. There are no stickers on it giving its clock speed. Is there a way to find out? Just curious.

I am including some information I was able to extract from Sandra, with the module Mainboard Information:

. Under the heading 'Physical/BIOS Memory Banks', I am getting the string 'DIMM1-1(RASL-0 RASL-1) 64MB DIMM double-bank' & 'DIMM1-2(RASL-0 RASL-1) 64MB DIMM double-bank' for the unknown stick.

For a known 133MHz, 128MB stick I am getting the string 'DIMM3-1(RASL-4 RASL-5) 128MB DIMM single-bank'

. Under the heading 'Logical/Chipset Memory Banks', I am getting the string '7-1-1-1R 6-1-1-1W 2-2-2CL' for both the sticks.

Thanks...

Kanchu

There was a utility called ctspd mentioned in a topic in a forum. http://www.sysopt.com/forum/Forum9/HTML/004329.html

Also, Sisoft Sandra gives information on the memory modules in your system under Mainboard Information.

Hi,

Thanks 'Dan_King888', found out the clock speed of that RAM, with the app 'CtSPD'. It is PC133 http://www.sysopt.com/forum/smile.gif. Thanks a lot...
