My Icons are all scrambled!

Every Icon on my computer is all scrambled And I mean every, (folders, exe, shortcuts, ect.). I just booted it up today and poof evreyone is scrambled. I restarted several times, Scanned for virused and restored my registry but still they are all scrambled. Please if anyone can help me ill owe you big!!!!!!

Check for an irq conflict..and maybe reinstall your vid drivers. I have seen that happen when installing a new sound card.

did you try right clicking on your desktop and auto arranging them ?

Try downloading TweakUI and under the repair tab, click "rebuild icons" and it should fix them. Here's the link for the download: http://www.creativelement.com/pub/annoyances/tweakui.zip

Yup it worked, I wonder why it happned though, who cares it is back to normal now. Anyway thanks again!

Seen this recently.

If you got too many programmes running in the background the monitor looses to many motherboard memory facillities and you can hardley see your icons.

Go start run type msconfig

tab to startup and tick off unwanted background programmes.

see if its any better

Some icons in My Computer, Windows Explorer, on the desktop, or in the Quick Launch toolbar may randomly change.
