i have a virus!!!!!!! "backdoor.subseven22" ??

i ran norton av 2001, and it found this virus and quarantined it, i deleted it but my comp is still acting weird.. sometimes it slows my games down, it will highlight all the icons on my desktop when i click on one icon, it runs some programs on its own.....what do i do to get rid of this virus? i don't want to reformat my hard drives is their something else i can do?

well, i did the last thing i could think of, i reformatted the drives and starting all over.....i hope this solves the problem.

yes if it is the same subseven as I've heard of, its a VERY serious thing to be concerned about. Gives anybody FULL control over your machine that has the right tools.

I've seen another tool like it, they could even move your mouse where they wanted it, play sounds at any time etc.
