Does anyone know how i can get html to work within e-mail messages?

Sorry for omitting the details,
I am using Windows98 and IE5 and would like to know how to add scrolling text, Gifs etc
within E-mails------

Red - you can add all day long given you have the right e-mail program to do it - thing is, if your reader doesn't have the right e-mail software, they won't see what you're sending, or, if the POP3/SMTP server isn't up to snuff (their post office server) - they may never even get it, or may only see the text portion of your send.

MS Outlook will look into the file associations file and attempt to launch whatever MS app you need to read what you're sending. Several other mail programs will do the same.

As I usually just attach photos to e-mails, I've not looked deeply at imbedding a gif or photo within the text of the document, bit I know it's possible.

Interesting thread - I'll keep an eye on it and learn....
