Has anyone tried Worldspy the free ISP and got connected? Whenever I try to dial in I keep getting a box asking me for my login and password. I know my login and pw are correct since I cut and pasted them from my confirmation email. So far I haven't been able to connect to any of the free non banner ISPs. I always get that stupid box.

yup, right here. I downloaded it and installed it and i had a helluva time getting on. i kept toying around with the dialup numbers and dial location and finally got it to connect. before that i was having the exact same problem that you're talking about. i don't use it at all, i just wanted to check it out because i use netzero. if you want to, email me (nojive@usa.net) and i'll write out instructions on how to get rid of the ad banner. actually i'm in the process of writing a program that will automate the task and do it for you, but i had to do a new revision for the newest version of netzero. otherwise, you may just keep toying around with your dialup number until you get connected to worldspy. good luck!

I use worldspy w/ same prob. I also use altavista.com with atguard prog. that keeps all ads from showin. U might try www.tritium.net (http://www.tritium.net) as it is also a free isp and atguard works well here also.

I use it without any problems. Last week they were down for a day or two. You may want to sign up again. Try manually putting in your password and username. Sometimes you can pickup stuff (spaces especially) by pasting.
Good Luck!!
