Some bios's can be flashed back, and some cannot. If someone here cannot tell you for certain, go to the following forum where they deal with such as this every day.

I recently bought a ZipCD12/10/32. I hear they are the same as the Plextor, but with a differnet label. A friend gave me a site that had a firware upgrade on it "make it a Plextor". Ever since I applied the upgrade my CD-RW won't work right. It won't burn CD-Rs and always freezes up my computer. I am not familiar with the concept of "fireware", but I would like to know if there is a way to reverse the firmware upgrade. It would also be greatly appriciated if someone could explain it to me or give a link that does. http://www.sysopt.com/forum/smile.gif
