What do you recommend? I need it for music production, i'm currently using a AWE64.

Soundfonts are not necessary as I already have a dedicated sampler (Akai S3000), but a soundcard with built in synthesizers, and filter fx, as well as other fx would be useful, as well as compression. Also a card which has capabilities of splitting the channels, so I can plug it into my mixing desk.

It should also be capable of Direct to Hard disk recording and Post production capabilities.

Also, What are the good and bad points of the Creamware Pulsar (besided the price) EMU Audio Production Studio, TerraTec EWS88 MT, Yamaha SW1000XG and Yamaha DS2416 DSP factory?

I just got the new sound blaster live platinum. It is the greatest sound card I have ever had. It has tons of extras. The new drive bay is great for Midi input or output. I am not sure if it has everything you are looking for, but you should check it out. It is a great card.
