Any number of about 100 different things.

How much RAM do you have?
What is your processor temperature when it locks up?
What operating system and version number are you running?

Should I continue? LOL

I had this problem about 2 years ago, it turned out to be my memory... I was using 70ns simms at the time, I got around it by disabling the L2 cache in my bios, and the problem went away. When I upgraded to DIMM's, I turned the L2 cache back on, and I have not had any lock-ups or freezes.

Well I guess there is to much. I can rule out heat because I can run 3dmark 2000 for hours and also play qauke3 with out it freezing. It only seems to lock up when being on the internet.

How do you connect to the internet?
Dialup, DSL or Cable?

I'm using cable to get on the internet. I currently have 3 computers connected thru a linksys router and this perticular computer is the only one having this problem.
thanks for your input.

Try going to http://www.dslreports.com
Do their tweak test and see if your rcwin and mtu are set up properly, This will also check your packet tranfer speed.
Basically if you follow their instructions it will eliminate this part of your internet so that you can troubleshoot elsewhere.
Good Luck !
