Windows clipboard viewer works very well and best of all.. its free! ( well part of windows). Please read about the Clipboard viewer in windows help. Hope that answers your ???. Others may be using something else.

I do not know about capturing sandra but I usually use Print Screen on my keyboard and after that Ctrl+V for paste in Word and it work fine. For a part of the screen I am using Paint Shop Pro.

Full Screen Capture, use the Print Screen button, then paste into your favourite graphics program.
Active Window Capture only, hold down the ALT key and hit Print Screen.
