Win 2K Wont Install on KA266-R MoBo

Im trying to install Win2K on a computer with an Iwill KA266-R Motherboard.

I have two drives connected to the RAID controller, and set up as a RAID 1 Array. ( 2 IBM 40 GB Deskstars )

Whenever I hit f6 at the very beginning of setup, have the installer get the drivers for the RAID controller, and try to continue setup, the system will lock up while trying to begin. (i.e. says "Starting Windows 2000" at the bottom, then totally freezes )

When I dont hit f6, and just try the install normally, it will begin, but then tells me I dont have any hard disks in the computer, press f3 to exit.

Im curious if this is a known bug with installing win2k on this board in this manner, or if my mobo is bad.

System Specs:
Iwill KA266-R MoBo
Athlon 1.2Ghz
1 256 MB Mushkin PC2100 DDR

64MB Radeon w/VIVO ( I know there is an issue with the radeon and this board, already flashed BIOS to correct, set the setting they said to set, and still no go, even replaced the card with a different brand . . . )

2 IBM Deskstar 40GB 7200RPM UDMA/100 hard drives

I have had the smae exact problem. my solution was to put the hard drives on the Regulat IDE ports then install win2k then put em back on ATA/100 (or raid for you). i dont think this might be helpfull but i would like too see some light on this too on how to specify a RAID/ATA100 hdd.
