I came across this letter at BP6 forum:
Dear BP6 Customers:
It's sorry to inform that PW BIOS has some problem
with PIRQ assigning for PCI slots. We've decided
to withdraw the PW BIOS from Abit WWW host and FTP site.
We urgently suggest our customers to switch back to older
NJ BIOS. Otherwise, if PW BIOS' Y2K fix is in strong need,
please DON'T TURN ON ACPI FUNCTION IN BIOS SETTINGS.
Please accept our apology. We've learned a lesson from this
bitter mistake, and would certify our BIOS with more prudence
henceforth.
