VIRUSES!!

I just received an e-mail from my friend, titled Happy99.exe. I remember hearing somewhere it was a virus, I deleted it, but my friend said he never sent it to me, didn't even see it in his e-mail!

Can somebody please give me more info? I would really appreciate!

There are a few viruses that actually enter your address book and select a name from there to place in their own header so that the attachment looks like it's from someone you know.
So - might not have been your friend. You may have picked it up on the web somewhere else while downloading something.
Definitely time to update your definitions and scan your entire system along with any disks you bought recently.
