I use Easy CD Creator 3.5c with my HP 8110i RW drive. I have seen alot of info at www.gamecopyworld.com (http://www.gamecopyworld.com) about Nero and its flexibility in its settings and configuration. I was wondering if anyone has used Nero and how it stacks up to Adaptec's software. Thanks for the info!

I have Nero and it works pretty well, easy to configure. I've had a few coasters but I think that's due to an interface error between the keyboard and GUI. http://www.sysopt.com/forum/smile.gif
But I can't compare to Easy CD as it's not (or wasn't) compatible with my Creative CDRW 6424.

My friends like Nero more, since it is pretty small to install and can overburn. (I am not sure about Easy CD, I have never tried that.
But, Nero cannot run on NT, so I have to use Easy CD Creator.
Nero works way better for me http://www.sysopt.com/forum/smile.gif

Now I just have to go out and find the program then. I wonder if it is freeware? Maybe I am asking for too much on that one. http://www.sysopt.com/forum/smile.gif
Thanks-

Nero is the best! You can burn almost anything with Nero with no trouble. Easy CD Creator is okay, but I have had bad experiences with it. Be warned if you have a dvd drive, Easy CD Creator will create a file that screws up the playing of your DVD movies.

WEll I use EZ CD Creator (3.5c and 4.01 now) and NERO (4.0.5.6) and Plextor's own cd creation software (plextor 2000) and have NO PROBLEM with my DVD player (pioneer 303S slot load 6x scsi). If you download all the current patches for ANY of these 3 softwares I believe you will be more than happy with their performace in burning ANYTHING that you and your burner is capable of :-)
If you have any questions on these softwares feel free to shoot me an e-mail or post here but I have been very busy the last few days and havent had a lot of time to be on the boards http://www.sysopt.com/forum/frown.gif

Raven...I've never seen any problems using my DVD after installing EasyCD Creator, or DirectCD...what are you talking about?
I tried Nero, made a binary of a cd and then burned it to a blank. THe whole thing went successfully except that I could not actually read any data that was burned to the cd! Anyone seen that? Only with Nero.
