Hello everyone,

I need help, my mouse won't scroll within certain windows; like this window here. I can't scroll up, down, left, or right anymore. It won't let me scroll in any type of browser window, however, windows like the wallpaper box within desktop display properties I can. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

P.S. It's a Logitech optical wheelmouse.

I went here: http://www.a4tech.com.tw/ftp.html
and downloaded the "4d++" mouse driver and it solved all my scrolling woes.

It isn't the driver for your mouse, but it isn't the driver for my mouse either, the scrolling with it just seems to work the best, and I tried lots of brands.

Uses fewer resources too.

I rarely run into something similiar. At least w/my PS2 Logitech, the visible window has to be "highlighted" for the scroll to work. To test, keep a long-enough text file open & minimized. When this happens, maximize the text file & see if it'll scroll. If it will, this is your problem. Make sure to click on the current window's top-bar to make sure it's "highlighted".
