Though this has nothing to do with CDR. medo 01-03-2000, 03:31 AM Hello, Ghost (http://www.ghostsoft.com) is a fine solution but problem is when you want to restore only one segment or a directory. You can use ghost to make an image (also update) of your HD (if you have enough space to do so) or you can use xcopy(32) with switches /s/e and make copy of your directories (and subdirectories). Xcopy does not make a proper copy of your system files (they need exact location) but it will work under WIN/DOS. If you make a startup disk with DOS CD drivers than you will be able to restore your files using xcopy and system files using sys command. Wait some time, maybe somebody else have a better idea. Hope it will help. Medo http://www.sysopt.com/forum/smile.gif BBA 01-03-2000, 07:45 AM You know, Winzip works really well...LFN's and self extracting files are no problem. SysOpt.com
