My guess is that's Bill Gate's story. I was considered "gifted" in elementary school and all kinds of weird things happened. My family once got a phone call in the middle of the night offering us a $6000 scholarship. I was interviewed psychologically up through high school. Growing up during the cold war was very strange. I think alot of strange things happened (are still happening) that have yet to shake loose. One of the things we constantly heard about was the coming "information age" based on the new explosion in semiconductor technology.

NATO, you know, has a lot of research interests. Try looking up research papers with NATO as corporate author or publishing series. Anyone remember Jose Delgado and "Towards a Psychocivilized Society"? Fact is sometimes stranger than fiction.
