I ate the big one , data gone ,raid stripe broke, running a kt7 raid abit, flashed to 3C and computer screwwed up, running bios ZT with highpoint 3b bios now, but mouse will not work on ps/2 port- only usb port works with mouse, why wont the ps/2 port work?
make sure the ps/2 mouse support is enabled in the BIOS, i think that it may have reset when you flashed the BIOS perhaps, otherwise, the BIOS might be fried. You may need to replace the chip.

There isn't an option for that in the bios. Try reflashing or resetting the CMOS.

Tried flashing to YP bios, still nothing with mouse ps/2 port, is this a hard ware problem? Using usb to run mouse. May be there is nothing I can do to fix this except send back the motherboard? I need to use computer so i will put that off. Anything I can do to get port ps2 to work? PS2 keyboard does work.

Running windows Me, when I flashed to 3C my mouse stopped working.I may just forget about it, I can run mouse from usb port, computer working okay now, will try reseting but i doubt it will fix mouse ps2, my guess is the motherboard itself has a bad peice of hardware>?

You wouldn't by chance be running win2k pro. B/c my ps/2 mouse isn't recognized in win2k but it is in win98se.
