No problems at all here in SC. no glitches. Only a bunch of drunkards. I really don't know if I would have noticed if anything happened though since I was one myself.

I did read in the paper about some slot machines in Delaware (probably spelled wrong, my apologies) biting the dust, thinking it was 1900. And some ticket makers or something on some busses in Asia some where started spitting out wrong dates. Oh yeah, and a problem with some sort of emergency dispatch centre right here in Ontario. I live in North Carolina on the east coast. (like North Carolina could be anywhere else) anyway, I watched the ball drop in NYC on televison at a party with my friends. I kept hoping that maybe the clock would lock up like 1 second before 2000. Nothing happened. The new year came in, with little fuss.. what a shame. I felt as disappointed as I was when Star Wars:Episode One came out.. well, maybe not THAT disappointed. http://www.sysopt.com/forum/smile.gif

Did everyone hear that Yeltsin resigned? I heard about it a half hour after it happened. I figured, "Well, I think I know what all those heavy armored bottle rockets were that were set off in Red Square."
