when I boot my sys. it shows the cd and the cdr but when Win98se comes up there is no cd/cdr in the devices or under my computer??? what should I do to get them to load up?? IN LAYMENS TERMS PLEASE...

If they were ever displayed, but not now,(1) try restoring the registry. (2) Disconnect the cables , reboot, shut down,re connect the cables and reboot and see if they're recognized then. (3) go into "safe mode" and see if they're recognized there, if so , delete and re boot into windows. Try these and if no results, post back. Good luck! http://www.sysopt.com/forum/smile.gif

gOT A CPY OF THE WIN 98SE AND JUST OVERLAYED THE SYS.. I'M BACK BUT THANKS FOR YOUR REPLY I'LL USE THE INFO IF I EVER GET THAT AGAIN OR SOMETHING LIKE IT....
