Check your device manager for error's,you might have to boot in safe mode and remove the hdd drivers completely and reinstall them. Also make sure that the jumpers on the hard drives are set right and that the ribbon cable is on correctly.

I was trying to install the Ultra66 controller card and was fiddling around with the devices under the Scsi Card section. I remember uninstalling a DMA something or other and I rebooted to find that my bios was no longer recognizing my 9.1gb hdd. When the computer boots the 9.1gb lights up, ticks about four times, and then seems to shut off. So I changed out ide ribbons, attached and reattached connections, moved the slave/master/cable select jumpers all around and eventually was forced to reinstall win2k on my second hdd, the 3.2gb. This works. Funny thing is, now when I add on the 9.1 as a slave while keeping the 3.2 as the master, neither one are recognized. I've since backed my cpu down to the spec'd 300mhz @ 2.2v, reset my bios to default values and the same thing is still occuring. Can anyone tell me what's going on?
