Can I delete all the cookies in the cookie file or will it mess up my system? I always delete the temp ones and i thought that got rid of the cookies as well...it doesn't.

I deleted all the cookies files in my folder and it had no effect on my computer so im pretty sure it wont bother yours.

It won't hurt at all , but if you have any sites you frequent that "saves" your name and password e.g. IWON.com .... Amazon.com .... and other things of that nature , they need to be re-entered when you visit the site for "your" settings

It's safe to delete cookies,You will get new ones the next time you visit a site ( unless you block them)

I found a simple, efficient software (Window Washer) that lets one select which cookies you wish to save (for both Netscape and IE). One can even choose to empty your cache. Good program (found on download.com).
