Virus?!?!

As some of you know, I recently was e-mail bombed, not anything serious, and actually this question doesn't have much to do that. After I scanned my mail, I went ahead and ran a full scan(McAfee 4.0) on my computer. It discovered something called zoo in wintools.exe. My question is what is it? I've not been able to find any info on it. Is it an older virus or anything at all. I went ahead and deleted it and I can't seem to find any adverse affects. Any ideas? Thanks. C.C.

It's a DOS type virus. Infects com and exe files. I don't know what this one does, but those type of virus can delete files etc etc. Usually, you just delete the infected file. If it's a file you need, recover it from your cd or install disks.
