Thanks for the tip on Jammer. I saw that you said you used it w/ BID in one of your posts and it sounds pretty good. I DLed it and am running it for the first time now.

I must say though, I just ran the Probe my ports on GRC and BID reacted normally, one sign of attack via TCP-IP Probe, but Jammer didn't flinch! Is there any reason ot believe I don't have it set up right? It is detecting network traffic and listening.

If I could offer 2c here..I use BID and Jammer as well...I use jammer to catch anything that might possibly get past BID..the nice feature of Jammer though is the advise that a program is about to alter your registry...you have the opportunity to say no..jammer will not react to scans if BID catches them 1st..another feature of jammer is the netstat view..runs it constantly and on auto for you...
