Just assembled my trusty old Remington 1187, 12 ga semi-automatic, it was sitting in the box.
Only have about 30 shells, I'll have to use them wisely. (not to mention that they are #8 target loads for clay pidgeons...I think I'm a little undergunned if things get ugly.)
Anybody know where I can get a BFG10k with some cells? Hummm...
Oh yeah, I went to the grocery and bought some frozen burritos.
Pretty good stock of booze.
My hotwater heater is full of water. as well as the 4 fish tanks.
I've got a big jar of change on the mantle.
2/3 a tank of gas
Plenty of old magazines and books to burn for heat.
Battery back up on the computer is charged, so I've got a good 15 minutes of Quake 3 before I'm out of juice.
Oh yeah, I did the date length thingy in Win 98.
I'm too lazy to do a backup of my hard drive, do you think it would work to email the c drive to myself as a file attachment? Just have to be sure not to check my mail until after Y2K, it would probably take a while to download at 33.6.
Have I forgotten anything? Thanks for your help. As you can see, I am taking this Y2K thing every bit as seriously as it deserves.
Sure wish I needed a generator, it shouldn't be hard to get a good deal on one in about a week.
