I have a Creative 8439. It seems to be the same as CDRW 8432, but I have had some troubles: first, when i'm making audio CD's,. the songs looks cut, but what really happens is that at the end of every song, the burner repeats a little bit of the song, so it sound bad. Other issue, is that sometimes when i burn Zip files, the names are changed.. does anybody here know how to fix it?

Thamx a lot

Hey doteus,
Post your info here, that way your message gets bumped up to the top and everybody sees it on the first page again.

Info recieved from doteus: OK: OS= Windows 98.
Software: NTI CD Maker (i can't use my CDRW with other softwate.. they don't recognize it!!)
Yes, i'm copying mp3's
It's a celeron 350 (i'm gonna change it soon)
With only 32 RAM (maybe next week i'll buy more)

My guess is, With the price of RAM so cheap I would start with at least 64megs. I think you should make sure the firmware on the burner is the latest available and is compatible with the software. Go to the website for Creative CD-RW and see what is available. Also check the links page on the Plextor web site. Thay have links to a lot of burning SW.
