Powerpoint hangs under windows 2000 environment. Does anybody know of any fixes?

You didn't mention "where" it hangs. Stand alone version or are you on a network? etc....

Go to the first link and select powerpoint. Search on the word hang.

It hangs every time I click on anything related to a font selection, ie. the scroll button in the menu bar. It's the program that hangs and not the pc and seems to be regardless of a network connection. The PC is a Sony VAIO FX-105 Laptop. Powerpoint stops responding and needs to be shutdown using Task Manager. I tried to search the knowledge base for patches or fixes but with little success.
