Steve R Jones 06-15-2001, 10:44 AM You didn't mention "where" it hangs. Stand alone version or are you on a network? etc.... Go to the first link and select powerpoint. Search on the word hang. The solution to the vast majority of Microsoft Products problems & questions can be found here: Search the Microsoft Knowledge Base of technical support information and self-help tools for Microsoft products. Go Ask Bill (http://search.support.microsoft.com/kb/c.asp) How to Query the Microsoft Knowledge Base Using Keywords Query Here (http://support.microsoft.com/support/kb/articles/Q242/4/50.ASP) Jim Maynard 06-16-2001, 12:13 AM It hangs every time I click on anything related to a font selection, ie. the scroll button in the menu bar. It's the program that hangs and not the pc and seems to be regardless of a network connection. The PC is a Sony VAIO FX-105 Laptop. Powerpoint stops responding and needs to be shutdown using Task Manager. I tried to search the knowledge base for patches or fixes but with little success. SysOpt.com
