Ok here si the problem. I installed Win 2000 Beta release 2 on one of my older computers. I just wanted to see what it was like. Well after playing a couple of days I've decided to remove it and reinstall Win 95. Now when I tried to restart using my Win 95 boot disk it would get to the starting Windows 95 logo and it will freeze. I tried using my Win98 boot disk and I was able to get to a dos promt. But I get the error message that there is not enough memory to load my drivers. I have also gotten the message that configuration manager could not start. I have fdisk and formatted several time to no avail. Is there any way around this or any secrets I need to know.

Come on folks, Anyone out there?
long shot here, but check your BIOS, or reset it, if you wish. Then format and reinstall windows. this might be a hardware problem also.

Maybe it was a typo but you shouldn't use a Win98 boot disk with Win95. It won't work correctly. If it is a typo then...
I agree witht he post above to check the BIOS for anything that might cause a conflict. I have never used any version of Windows NT (4.0 or 2000) so I don't know what it does to a machine when you put it on.

best bet, repartition and reinstall. This should fix any boot record or anything residual.
