Run "msconfig", then choose what you want to remove from "Startup"

While I'm not familiar with WinOn, I believe that ND's solution may be the only one that will disable the splash screen... but it will also prevent WinOn from loading by default at Windows startup.

If I understand what your saying, WinOn Packet writing software has installed itself to load when Windows starts up. If that's the case, it's probably either loaded from the "Startup" folder in the "Start Menu" or it's loaded from msconfig.

Be aware though, if you remove WinOn from either of these two locations, CDPacket writing won't load with Windows, and you won't be able to "drag-n-drop" files to your CD-R(W). That's not a problem if you don't use WinOn every day, just start WinOn from the "Start Menu" when you need to use it. Again, I'm not familiar with WinOn... I'm just assuming that it works like Adaptec/Roxio DirectCD.

BTW, that's the way I handle DirectCD on my computer. I disabled DirectCD in msconfig since I seldom use it, and on the rare occasion when I do want to use DirectCD, I simply start it from the "Start Menu" like any other program.

PS, DirectCD does give the option to disable the splash screen ... maybe WinOn does too. If there is a WinOn icon in your systray, try right-clicking on it.
