When I made this machine, the motherboard I used would only recognize 32 gigs on each of the 60gig IDE drives. It was recommended to me that I flash the BIOS with an upgrade in hopes that the later BIOS could recognize a 60 gig drive. I installed windows 2,000 to check and see if all of my devices were properly connected because I didn't have a boot disk at the moment. Based on the 32 gig identified by the system, I opted for a 2 gig partition for the operating system and divded the remaining space into two equal partitions, assuming this could be easily wiped out and re-configured later. After flashing the BIOS the next day I found that I could not get windows to reconfigure the partitions. How do I restore the hard drives to their origional condition? Please help! I don't know what to do! Thanks...

I think you can stick the boot disc in for windows and set the BIOS for First Boot Device "Floppy Drive"
Then FDISK as usual.
Use option 3 to delete all partitions.
Then repartition..

Using FDISK as suggested by Richard will work, but will destroy any data on the drive. If you want to re-arrange the partitions without losing data, you will have to use a software package such as Partition Magic.

Thanks, Ill do that. It's a new computer and there's nothing on it but the operating system at this point, so I'm not worrying about losing any data.
