Everyone has such cool names...when I first joined, I just used my real name...can I possibly change it? I don't see any option to do so, but can it be done?

While we're at it, what is the significance of all of your "handles"? If you care to say so...

I think you would lose your 86 posts in doing so but you can rejoin under another name.

Let me guess Navydood, you are a hippie type that hates war and protests it at every chance you get. You are afraid of heights and are not mechanically inclined? Dead on or dead wrong? http://www.sysopt.com/forum/smile.gif

Yes, Andrew if you want to change your User Name then you must re-register thus losing your posting status. If you want to keep the same email addy, there might be a technical problem, so if you do change and have a problem let me know.

if you change your profile in edit profile try changeing email address first, you could then register, under the name you want without conflict, plenty of places out there to get a val e-mail address.
Not sure you may even be able to edit your log in name.

Well, you know what they say,...the grass is always greener on the other side, but if you changed it you'd just always have to sign:

(aka Andrew)

DavidX just changed his name to Romulus2 and lost 400 posts, so of course you can change your name. http://www.sysopt.com/forum/wink.gif http://www.sysopt.com/forum/wink.gif http://www.sysopt.com/forum/wink.gif

Yup, like Bob-NB said, I flushed my whole cyberlife down the toilet (sob, sob). If you are going to change your name, do it now while you've still got only about 87 posts. http://www.sysopt.com/forum/wink.gif

Most people don't have a problem figuring out the correct pronunciation of my first name but many mispronounce my last name the correct pronunciation is Mine (empahsis on the M) not Mean.

No, I'm not kidding http://www.sysopt.com/forum/wink.gif

Andy
you can always do what my son did he had a log in through another email address, mind you he's real agro with me at the moment seems he can't remember what that email address was and since I Zero filled all the drives he can't get into Sysopt any more on his old log in ( he also didn't keep a hard copy of his passwords) http://www.sysopt.com/forum/frown.gif
So you could log in as Andrew or some other name http://www.sysopt.com/forum/wink.gif mind you I think you might end up with a split personality and end up talking to yourself having two on one board JKU
