I have a user with a Dell Inspiron 5000 laptop, Win98SE, and an HP LaserJet 6P connected to the port replicator the laptop sits in at the office. Sometimes, about every other day lately, when the user goes to print something the computer will spontaneously reboot and the printed material comes out with maybe one letter on the top right side of the page. She's also been seeing print jobs come out of the printer with the formatting messed up. I've deleted the printer and it's files (at the least the one's Windows told me it would delete if I wanted to delete them since they were no longer in use) and downloaded and installed the PCL 5e driver for her printer. I told her to let me know if the problem persists. I just want to be prepared with some ideas to nip this thing if it comes up again. Any ideas will be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
