Worst - Lost a life-long friend to cancer at age 42.

Best - Can't really think of anything exceptionally good this year.

Best thing about 1999 - it's over. http://www.sysopt.com/forum/frown.gif

Best- God has me, I have a family, a job, a house, a school, and friends.

Worst- Can't think of a thing....I have nothing to complain about. Life is what it is, take it or leave it.

Best- My wife and I had twins on the 16th of Dec. One boy and one girl.

Worst- I can't say any real bad things have happened this year, the twins pretty much make up for it. http://www.sysopt.com/forum/smile.gif

My worst was using an incompetent shipper to ship my 'puter.

My best was finding this site and the people who post here!

Worst - was my 2 year old daughter taking a swan dive into my sister's solid stone coffee table Christmas Eve - spent it in the emergancy room getting 4 stitches. That was the worst.

Best - I found my new position within my company and am getting paid more, I'm not on-call anymore, and I now have covered parking.

dkozloski - my condolence goes to you my friend.

Seeing a love one slowly dying in front of you is one of the most painful thing I've ever had to go thru, even more painful than dying yourself. In my whole life, this year was the first time I truly understand the meaning of death, as I've lost a Grandpa.

I truthfully believe that death is actually the best thing that could happen to him at his time and age, bringing him a brighter, better, more hopeful, and happier new life.

One thing that I'd like to say to everyone is that most people don't know how lucky and fortunate they are to have that special someone in their life until they've actually lost them, and then to say "I'm sorry" is too late, it's just too late. Love and caring is the best thing we can give to someone, especially our parents that we tend to forget about or totally discard out of our lives when we have our own family.

No positve things that ever happened in any year can make up for my loss.
