I got a Microsoft Intellimouse Explorer for Christmas. Works great! Well almost...couldn't get the USB to work - oh well. I just plugged it into the ol mouse port. But it does excel in games. No more dieing in Half Life because of dog hairs and dust in my ball (I'm lazy about cleaning off the mouse pad).

Well... let's see.... there's my Yamaha 6416S internal SCSI CD-R/RW drive, the Adaptec 2906 to go with it, and WordPerfect 8 for Linux.

Only made one coaster so far (due to inexperience with a CD burner), and now that I've learned, I shouldn't have any more!

On a sidenote... has anyone else had problems with the CDs that come with the 6416? Both of mine seem to be defective (the ones with the software on them, haven't tried the CD-R or the CD-RW that came with it) http://www.sysopt.com/forum/frown.gif. I'll probably have to send them in to get a new copy, right?

I bought myself a Linksys 8 port 10/100 switch and 2 more NIC's to setup my cable modem router. Not that I really need 8 ports for home (I'm only using 3 ports currently), it's great to take to LAN parties and have a frag-o-rama with UT/Q3.

For Christmas I got a nice photo quality epson printer from my parents. I also bought myself Unreal Tournament and Planescape: Torment. Both are great games. Planescape is highly recommended. It's one of the best rpgs I have ever played.
