It's a fresh installation of win98SE, and it went nuts trying to install other items. But most of my drivers are on my other computer (win98), so I wanted to get the network card running properly first.
Well, I've installed the card, tcp/ip, and set the ip, dns, and gateway (i also have a router for my cable modem). I pinged my generic ip (127.0.0.1) and it worked. But I tried pinging the other IP, 192.168.0.101 which I set in Network settings / tcp/ip. It keeps giving me Destination Host Unreachable. Client for Microsoft Networks is installed, and the way I have it setup was identical to the way before... only difference is I'm using win98se instead of reg win98.
help!
