Hi all.
I'm brand new on this forum, but a friend of mine has big problems with his teac cd-w512e, so i hope someone will be of some help ! (would be very kind! : ) )
the Writer is an IDE (model E) but is recognized by Win2000 as the SCSI Model teac cd-w512EB...
In Windows Properties, also than in every CDWrite Software, such as NERO 5...
Of course, every attemp to burn anything has failed.
Box is Clear, CDWriter is clear, it is really a teac cd-w512E, and it reads CD fine.
Can anyone know how to 'force' the system to accept it as an cd-w512e ?
It seems not to exist any driver for it nor any firmware update... So, I'm Lost ! http://www.sysopt.com/forum/smile.gif
Thanks for answers. If it appears to you to be a Newbie question, just tell me and I'll kick my friend !
Bye,
TRX
