OuTpaTienT 12-27-1999, 07:44 PM the normal 100mhz bus used by a CPU is transmitting data at 100mhz, right. 100 electrical pulses per second and each pulse is pushing a bit of data. Ok? Now with the Athlon, it's still using an actual 100mhz electrical pulse but instead of each pulse just push one bit of data, it will also be pulling another bit of data. Each megahertz is producing twice the data transfer and thus is the same effect as a "normal" 200mhz bus. Does that make sense? alpha 12-29-1999, 12:42 AM It's like sidebanding on AGP 2x. SysOpt.com
