Care to comment on whether there's a difference between them and PS/2 mice?
I know there's a program called PS/2 plus, where you can increase frequence from the default 40Hz to a whopping 200Hz; as USB mice are around 80Hz or 120Hz (I don't remember exactly...) does that mean a PS/2 mouse can surpass a USB mouse?
Thanks for your replies...

I don't know if I can help you with your question, but I am using a USB mouse. Logitech MouseMan Wheel - natural comfort design with thumb button and high precision scroll wheel. (Gee, I sound like a salesman!) I LOVE this mouse. It's very accurate. I immediately noticed the difference when I installed and starting using it (coming from a cheap P/S2) I think they're worth the extra dollars, especially for people like me who LOVE the Q3 railgun! My rail game has improved 100% with this mouse, and that's no lie.
Hope that helps.. a little

I use the M$ Explorer mouse. It's one with the Intellieye. It works really well. I have heard lots of horro stories about it flipping out but have had no problem. The only complaint is that it doesn't work in Safe Mode which is a pain when you try to reverse those tweaks that go wrong. It does free up an IRQ which is always good. I'd give it a thumbs-up.

I am using a serial mouse and a USB mouse at the same time. The USB mouse, Interex wheel mouse, is smoother but the cable is too thick.
