An annoying problem!
My pc shutsdown okay, but when I next try to switch it back on, although the power supply fans runs, lights come on etc, the pc wont post. If I then turn the power off and then on again at the power point - no problem! boots fine.
The worst thing is that the power switch is under my desk.
I have had this problem before, solved with a new power supply, but its only a couple of weeks old.
I have added a new udma100 hdu, installed multiple os's, involving heaps of crashes (leading to powring off via power point) as I experienced probs with highpoint drivers. Worked fine before this.
