Plextor's new IDE CD-RW

has anyone used one of these or seen one in action? I'm about to start building my new Athlon system and I'm thinking about getting one, but I don't want to end up with a bunch of coasters. I guess the terms IDE and CD-RW being mentioned in the same sentence still makes me a little nervous.

I've had one for a couple of weeks it works great... Burns 650 megs in 8 minutes or so..

One thing I noticed is it would not coexist with any other cd ron drive on my Abit be6..

I'm now using it on my bx6r2 and it works fine..

thanks Tex_Gex I was wondering if Plextor's quality would transfer over to the IDE platform and I guess it has.
