I have a Zip 650 external USB burner. You know, the cool purple drives?

Anyway, I thought I'd try using adaptec ez cd creator to burn some music. Hmmm.... It didn't (or wouldn't) recognize it. Said there were no available reocrding devices or something like that. So I ended up using CDRWIN. Not a big problem, just a little pain, as I just like the interface better on the adaptec program. You know, it gives you the little linear chart as to how much time you have used, and how much you have left.

Anyway, I figured I'd see if anyone else had the same problem.

Thanks,

By-Tor

What version of EZCD are you using? And have you tried downloading the latest update? The updates have fixes and support for more CDRW drives...

Hey ByTor, wassup?
Have you used Nero, It works great for me and has the linear graph to show how much time or space is left on the disc.

Well, I've got version 3.5a (105), and I can't find any updates for this particular incarnation, so I guess as usual, I'm screwed again.....

Oh well.

Yeah, as for EZCD 3.5, there aren't any updates for it to support more CDRW drives... Looks like you're gonna need to get a copy of at least 4.0 to get updates for more drive support. http://www.sysopt.com/forum/frown.gif
